Celebrating Elders and Grandparents Day 2022

On July 24th, 2022 we celebrated the Elders and Grandparents day with support of Uganda Martyrs Namugongo Catholic Parish at Namugongo Community. Alot of fun and refreshment activities towards the elders was carried out. We gave the elders new hope for life, refreshment quiz that was led by Musomesa Dan, Food and both soft and hard drinks was in plenty, Reflection about God and his deed towards the elders and on top of that all elders were give take home packages which included Sugar, Soap, Rice, Posho, Salt.

This was so good and welcomed by our elder community in Kira Municipality in Wakiso District. This event was celebrated under the theme: “Even at old age, they shall bear fruits”. Thanks to all partners as we look forward to provide more care and support to the grannies in times of need. Your continued support in terms of finance, home basic items and prayers are paramount to our work towards the community.
