Children Thriving Through Play Initiative

TATCO Uganda with her desire to support the growth and Education development of community children, through the support from like mind partners like Global Fund for Children has embarked on a project called Thriving Through Play (TTP) aimed at supporting Children’s Mental Health Resilience through play who are facing situations that can cause mental health disorder hence their poor academic performance.

To kick off this program for community children in schools and in communities which will run for 3 years of observation, learning, healing and changing children’s lives, TATCO Uganda organized a Stakeholder meeting in Mukono to launch and gather relevant information from people who matter to the community children. This event was so successful in attendance, information sharing and Stories from parents and local leaders on community children Mental Health.

Indeed its a good start and we expect a lot to unfold during the various planned activities of the Initiative.
