Women Economic Empowerment through Credit support and Business Mentorship Project

#SmallMoneyBigSmile support continues for the community women.
A TATCO Uganda Micro Credit Support Project to community women in rural areas of Mukono continues to create impacts and an increase in income generation and business sustainability among women.

With support from our strategic partner and sponsor #HaellaFoundation, credit was given to a number of women to start new business or to add capital in already existing businesses that were started after a training we provided to them in Business Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Financial literacy in 2024. This credit support is aimed at supporting the trained women practically put into action business knowledge and skills acquired in order to generate and improve on their income and as an alternative source of income away from the stone quarry business. This is aimed at Empowering the Women to directly provide good care and support to their Children in Education and Growth which is the core area of support for TATCO Uganda.

A number of small business enterprises were started and improved i.e Groundnuts processing business as a group, farming, catering services project, tailoring business, poultry business, retail shop business, etc which is enabling these women to be productive in the community and get some income for survival with our continued business mentorship of the beneficiaries.

We continue to thank #HaellaFoundation for supporting our women and this is just the beginning as we hope to support may eligible women within our organization care for Livelihood and Economic Development given the needed financial and material support.
