TATCO Uganda and her partners in our desire to bring Joy and Ray of hope to the community vulnerable persons, we always organise a Christmas and and End of Year party to a selected category of persons in the community. This year 2023, we choose to celebrate and give joy to the Grandparents and their grand Children in Mukono District – Uganda.
On Friday, 22nd Dec, 2023, we had a successful and full to capacity event geared at supporting a number of Children and their grandparents to celebrate Christmas and and End of Year. The event took place at Bukerere Village – Goma Division, Mukono Municipality and attracted over 350 people from 5 villages where grandparents had a chance to play Games and Dance again to remember the old times of joy they used to have. Children were also given an opportunity to play and dance to their tunes, a delicious buffet was served and ate together, shared motivational stories, cut and shared a Christmas and end of year Cake, grandparents were given packages with home basic use items that they went with at home to continue the celebration. And the organisation Director continued to ask the members to have a strong love for each other, we are brothers and sisters where it is possible lets live by caring for each other.
Thank you all partners mainly Global Fund for Children (GFC), Friends, Community stakeholders, Parents, TATCO staff and all welwishers who made this event successful and we would like to report to you that indeed the Grandparents and the Children are also thankful, a Ray of hope and Joy were created.
