The ANDTEX TRAINING AND CARE ORGANISATION (TATCO) Uganda and her partners for Children support through Education, once again carried out a Project for the P.7 Candidates who are about to sit for their Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) UNEB with the aim of checking their stand and readiness to sit for P.L.E, motivating and giving them courage, making targets and more skills needed to pass their final exams.

We toured

Star Primary School – Nyanja

and

Creamland Primary School – Kireka

where we had a deep talk and conversation with the P.7 Candidates about ways they can excel in their communing UNEB exams. We first gave them

Career Guidance

and

Counseling

aimed at informing them and letting them know the different career opportunities ahead of them that are based on the performance in P.7 so that they can get more focused and pay attention to primary academic subjects which will be a baseline for their intended and desired career path.

We asked the learners to promise TATCO Uganda, their teachers and parents their intended

P.L.E TARGET SCORES

. This target scores were filled in a well designed P.L.E 2024 Target Score Card that they signed and witnessed by us, their teachers and parents.

We continued to explore with them both

academic

and

social challenges

they currently face that they think can hinder them to score the targeted good results, we Co-created some of the solutions to their challenges and others carried forward to those in charge.

We also went ahead and gave them some of the needed

scholastic materials

that they need during the final exams with the aim of making them ably equipped to sit for the final exams.

With this, we expect better performance of the learners in their P.L.E and in other academic levels to come.
